The Master of Science in Space Studies gives students a working knowledge of the overall picture so they can become the scientists, engineers, planners, managers, troubleshooters, negotiators and communicators of the space community.The goal is to integrate, rather than separate, traditional disciplines related to space. While specialized technical training is an essential part of the space community, the all-encompassing nature of space development also requires people who possess a broader background that links policy, business, law, science, and technology. Thesis and non thesis options available.

Applicants must possess a bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.75 (on a 4.0 scale). In addition, a minimum of 20 semester credits of appropriate undergraduate work in the chosen field is required for admission. International student, whose native language is not English, should also achieve a minimum score of 550 (paper-based) or 79 (internet-based) on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). The acceptable IELTS score for graduate admission is 6.5.
