课程名称:M.Eng. in Nuclear Engineering - Comprehensive Program
- 授予学位:硕士学位 (Masters)
- 授予机构:UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA BERKELEY
- 学院:College of Engineering, Department of Nuclear Engineering
课程介绍:
This program is designed for recent college graduates and early-career technical professionals. In this program, students learn from leaders, among leaders. Their entire student cohort completes a core leadership curriculum totaling seven units. Taught by Berkeley Engineering faculty and guest lecturers with industry and entrepreneurial experience, the coursework covers key leadership principles and management concepts specific to technology-dependent enterprises. Topics in the first semester include opportunity recognition, effective R and D strategies, marketing innovation, product management, attracting stakeholders, business models and pricing strategies. The second semester covers going to market, sales, logistics, project management, motivating teams, leadership styles, funding sources, finance and budgeting. This program prepares students to play a key strategic role in influencing how technology can be managed to advance business objectives. The comprehensive program prepares students for advanced positions in nuclear engineering, a field that is growing rapidly in response to global demand for low-carbon, societal-scale energy options. Draw from cross-disciplinary coursework to develop a synthesized understanding of energy resources, nuclear security and safety, environmental impact reduction and finance.
