Serving Hawai’i’s Educational Needs

The College of Education offers five undergraduate degrees, eighteen graduate degrees, and three certificates through its eight academic departments and two research units.
Change, Diversity, and Optimism
Set amidst the most culturally diverse population in the U.S., the college’s more than 1,500 students and 300 faculty and staff are also diverse yet share a common goal – to advance and generate knowledge in the fields of education, human development, administration, assessment, evaluation, research, technology, special education, and other education-related disciplines.
Distance Education and Technology
The College of Education is a leader in distance education within Hawai`i and nationally. Because of our unique island geography, many potential educators do not have access to campus-based programs.
