A Statement of Purpose and Letters of Recommendation can be submitted along with the on-line application, or mailed directly to the department (see step 2).

4. Interview:
All doctorate candidates must be interviewed following the preliminary approval of all application materials. Generally interviews are in person on campus with one or two faculty members in the student’s concentration field. Interviews may be conducted by phone when circumstances prevent an on campus visit.
