- The master of fine arts program in graphic design has a different focus than the undergraduate program. The focus of the program of study is on expanding the knowledge of the student through new problem finding/solving situations. The course of study relies heavily on such areas as methodology, history, research and testing to arrive at fresh new communications.

- Students applying for graduate admissions must possess a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited institution. International students whose native language is not English must demonstrate English language proficiency by obtaining minimum TOEFL score of 550 (paper-based) or 79-80 (internet-based). Applicants may also take the International English Language Testing Service (IELTS) in lieu of the TOEFL. A minimum score of 6.5 is required for the IELTS. GRE is also required for admission.
