美国中密歇根大学Central Michigan University (CMU)建立于1892年，是密 歇根州第四大学府，全美第49位四年制公立大学，而且现已成为美国最大的一百所四年制公立大学之一。美国中密歇根大学Central Michigan University 位于密歇根州中部，占地480英亩，是一所现代高科技设施与古典建筑相结合的花园式研究型高等学府，得到美国北中部高等教育机构委员会认证，同时也被包括 美国高等商学院组织在内的其它多所美国权威教育机构及委员会所承认，新闻专业得到了教育与大众传媒认证委员会的认证，密歇根州只有两所大学得到这一认证， 全国也只有109所大学得到认证。
