Students must have completed high school with the following recommended courses: four years of English (including continued practice in writing); four years of mathematics; four years of one foreign language; at least two years of laboratory science; at least two years of history (including that of a country or an area outside the United Stated); some study of the visual arts, music, or theater. They must posses SAT reasoning test or ACT, as well as two SAT subject tests. International students must have obtained Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). Students who have attended an English medium secondary school for at least three years are not required to have the TOEFL results.
