Our unique first-year curriculum includes a four-hour course on the legal profession, where you’ll get the tools you need to create the career path that’s right for you. Supported by the groundbreaking research of the School's Center on the Global Legal Profession, this course is the only one of its kind in the US because it enables you to evaluate your own interests, abilities and values within the context of your new profession.
Whether you pursue a Doctor of Jurisprudence (JD) degree or a degree from our Graduate Legal Studies Program, you'll find academic rigor throughout the curriculum. Our outstanding faculty are dedicated teachers, with scholarship in dozens of legal disciplines, from intellectual property to income tax; from corporations to constitutional law. Our network of accomplished, dedicated alumni support the School in many ways: as teachers, as donors, as career advisors.
