The College of Law opened its doors in 1895 in rented downtown Syracuse office space with an entering class of just 23 students. By 1921, enrollment had climbed to more than 200 students and the College of Law moved into the John Crouse Mansion near the Syracuse University campus.
Today, with an enrollment of more than 650 men and women from 28 states and 15 countries, the College of Law offers students an exciting and rigorous academic journey that provides the knowledge, discipline and analytical skills needed to succeed in the legal profession and related fields - preparing the next generation of leaders to meet the demands and maximize the opportunities of our complex global society.
