One of the largest and most diverse institutions of its kind in the nation, the UGA College of Education offers 16 undergraduate majors and more than 34 graduate programs leading to careers as educators, counselors, psychologists, administrators, researchers, educational and health-related specialists. Its graduate programs are perennially ranked among the nation’s top 20 public universities.  At least five of its programs – elementary education, secondary education, counseling and human development services, and vocational/technical education – have ranked among the top 10 for more than a decade. Four more have consistently ranked among the top 20. The College’s rigorous academic programs offer opportunities for study and research with many nationally and internationally recognized faculty who are pursuing cutting-edge research, forging bold initiatives and building community-based partnerships.
