This program in accounting provides students with the skills necessary to become a productive scholar and teacher at a major university. Initially, all doctoral students complete a core curriculum that provides skills in research design and statistical analysis. Students must also complete four doctoral seminars.

Applicants must have earned a baccalaureate or higher degree from an accredited college or university. International students whose native language is not English must demonstrate English language proficiency by obtaining minimum TOEFL score of 100 (internet-based). Applicants may also take the International English Language Testing Service (IELTS) in lieu of the TOEFL. A minimum score of 7.0 is required for the IELTS. Applicants must also provide a valid (five years or less) GMAT score or Graduate Records Examination (GRE) to be considered for admission.
