Over the past two years I have achieved professional growth by setting clear goals, acquiring new skills and learning how to delegate. In early [Year XXXX], after five years working in the technology industry, applying technical solutions to business problems, I made a decision to pursue my interest in environmental consulting for businesses. My decision was the result of a long process of self-valuation and goal-setting. After struggling through a down technology market and an overall struggling [State X] economy a year earlier, making a career transition at this particular time was the toughest challenge I've ever faced.
